gloria: honer, brightness, from the Hebrew כבוד kabowd, “weight”
gloria Dei: God's external manifestation such as his greatness, his honor, his power, and his light. Glory
God(yhwh) is invisible, but his work(=gloria) is visible. (in the New Testament, God is visible as God the Son)
Deo: possessive dative; belonging to God
