Spring flowers

There were few people at the shrine near sunset, and it looked more desolate than when I visited there before. There were no birds.
However, the plum blossoms were in bloom, not forgetting the season, as the old song says,

"人はいさ心も知らず ふるさとは花ぞ昔の香ににほひける"

"The present will soon become the past,  no one can stop it,

all I can do is watch the seasons go by."
